A Testimony By Dubal Fernandez

“Last Sunday I went painting with my cousin as he had just gotten back from over seas. I hadn’t seen him in 6 weeks which for me was alot seeing as I am used to seeing my cousins at least once a week. Anyways, I had a pretty crazy weekend partying Friday night got home at 2:30 in the morning had to wake up at 7:30 for work got home at 5 in the afternoon and went out to another party, got home at about 12 and had to wakeup at 6:20 for work on Sunday so yea pretty crazy weekend.”

“Anyway point being I was kind of tired and at work I got a call from my cousin all he said was I just landed come for a paint and hung up.”

“I was thinking whether I should go or not. I mean I was tired and still had to finish work it looked like it was going to rain and i hadn’t painted a piece in a couple of weeks. Then I remembered all the times that I had been tired or in bad weather and gone for a paint and the fun stuff that had happened or the amazing piece I ended up doing so I called him back n said I would be there. ”

“The train ride to Casula where we paint because its legal felt like it took forever. But when I got there and saw my cuz doing his thing jus inspired me more. My final piece was more than I expected it was freestyled no sketch just off the top of my head it was a mix of styles which turned out great better than I thought as I was using the cheapest n worst quality paint you could get. Train ride home with paint covered hands was exactly what I had needed.”
